Vendors Comments

We fell in love with our house due to it’s period features, spacious and bright rooms, and of course the location was perfect for a couple without children who enjoyed eating out, theatre and cinema. So during our early years in the house we took full advantage of the proximity of the Watershed, Arnolfini, Old Vic and the many excellent restaurants in the area, all of these within walking distance. When our children came along, we discovered the other advantages our location had to offer, such as very good local schools (Colston’s Primary and Cotham School), Bristol Zoo, Bristol Museum, Explore@Bristol, Cotham Park, etc. Our children were able to walk to school, and almost every day (whatever the weather!) ended at Cotham Park, which made it very easy to make friends with other parents. A typical Sunday would involve a walk down to the harbourside, exploring the area around the boatyards and SS Great Britain, spending a couple of hours at Explore, lunch, then maybe taking in the museum on the way back home.We couldn’t imagine living anywhere else in Bristol, and are only selling after 16 years in order to settle in France, our new home.
