Vendors Comments I have many happy memories spanning my lifetime in this beautiful house. As a young girl and more recently with my own children, the leafy walks to the nearby Cotham Park and Redland Green are pleasant and calm.I can also easily walk to Whiteladies Road, Gloucester Road, dine al fresco on Zetland Road, Chandos Road and even Cotham Hill due to its superb location. The road is quiet and the neighbours are friendly, many have lived here for years. The house itself is a complete one off and has always been my home. Through the years its flexible living arrangement has seen it provide a safe, light and spacious family home for two generations. It has equally housed its fair share of friends and lodgers (particularly in the lower ground floor with its own access).I have often considered the various areas that could be developed here (at the end of the garden an office or extra 'cottage'?), the potential in the lower ground floor for extra income (airbnb?), extending the kitchen area and (add an extra bedroom or bathroom area on top of it?) but in actual fact I never really needed the extra space! The property is so spacious that even with children, friends and family all using it, it has never felt a squeeze; By all intents and purposes it is a family home by size, but with the added flexibility of using reception space if less bedrooms are needed. It has also been the perfect house for entertaining- many BBQs and indoor/outdoor gatherings have been had in the large south west facing garden and living area that opens with patio doors directly out to it.In the summer the sun fills the patio and the lounge, so much so that I have often sunbathed inside on the sofa.It is not without a degree of sadness that I say goodbye to such a beautiful home in what must be one of the nicest spots in Bristol. However, I am also happy to move into another exciting phase of life with the knowledge that this home may provide such lasting and happy memories for its fortunate new owners.
