After living the previous 10 years in a modern suburban semi -detached on the same estate it has been a pleasure living here in Partridge Close. It’s a well- proportioned home with good sized rooms throughout. The higher ceilings also help with creating a greater sense of space and comfort. We’ve valued having a usable utility room which has housed our washing machine and tumble dryer and has been somewhere where we can clean muddy walking boots after a ramble.The large patio door has provided us with a good view of our back garden and on sunny days the patio area outside is a real ‘heat trap’, great for outdoor meals in the sun and relaxing in our lovely garden which is visited by a number of small garden birds. The rose arbour has been particularly splendid in the summer months.Our fruit cordons which border the outside side wall have provided us with crops of apples, pears and quince and we have also produced redcurrants, rhubarb and logan berries. There’s also quite a lot of sage, rosemary and parsley in the flower beds and a good supply of bay leaves on the tree next to the rear garage door.The small patch of lawn to the rear of the garage which forms part of the property’s grounds has the potential to be made into extra car parking spaces subject to local planning agreements.With a solar hot water supply we have generally found that we’ve not needed to have the hot water on at all from April or May through to September, just an occasional top up with the immersion on cooler days.It’s been great to live in a quiet cul-de-sac with good neighbours, good access to local amenities and the road network and with the vast number of footpaths and cycle ways through the estate it is easily possible to access some good country walks by foot from the house! St Peters has been the place we’ve made our home throughout our time in Worcester and we hope our next occupants here enjoy this house as much as we have.The property is set in a large corner plot which is split into 4 gardens.
