"Latimer Close has been such a lovely place to live: peaceful, quiet, clean and tidy with friendly neighbours. Parking is easy, with an allocated space and plenty for visitors. The minute we walked into my flat we felt a sense of calm and were drawn to the windows, most of which overlooked trees. It's very private with no one overlooking you from most the windows. We feel safe here, and you rarely hear other neighbours because the properties are well built and insulated. The flat is cheap to run and lovely and warm in the winter and surprisingly cool in the summer. The kitchen/diner is large and airy with great views onto the allotments and trees from the Juliet balcony. Sitting on the sofa with the windows open hearing the birds is a real treat and so relaxing. Having two bathrooms is great if you are sharing and the rooms are a good size. Lying in bed with the windows open and listening to nature is definitely a big bonus here. It's the only plot on the close where the back of the block looks onto the woods and not other flats. The flat has been freshly decorated within the past 2 years and includes a new washing machine. The location is fantastic for green spaces with Nightingale woods on your doorstep, several parks nearby, and Beese's Tea Gardens offering river views, walks and a drink in the summer. There are also quite a few shops nearby for groceries. Bath is a 20-30 minute drive, and getting into the centre of Bristol takes 10 -15 mins, with Temple Meads very close. The number 1 bus is right outside and takes you into town, up Whiteladies, and all the way to Cribbs Causeway. It's a very convenient location for both Bath and Bristol. We are very sad to leave and if we could afford it, we wouldn't sell the flat but we'd like a garden now so we can grow our own veg! We hope you enjoy the flat as much as we do, it makes a lovely peaceful, calming home, and you can easily spend many years here due to all the benefits above." The layout is thoughtfully arranged to maximize both light and space, and provides a balanced combination of social and private spaces, making it an excellent choice for professionals or small families seeking a stylish and convenient home. Upon entering the flat, a central hallway connects all the primary rooms, creating a fluid and logical layout. The standout feature is the expansive open-plan kitchen and living area, which offers significant space for both dining and relaxation and features elegant doors opening onto the Juliette balcony. The sleeping quarters consist of two well-proportioned bedrooms, each providing a quiet and comfortable retreat. Uniquely, the apartment benefits from two separate bathrooms, which adds a significant level of convenience and luxury, particularly for shared living or hosting guests. Externally, the property is complemented by dedicated residents' parking, offering the significant practical benefit of off-street space. The building's architecture and the inclusion of the Juliette balcony provide a modern aesthetic that enhances the overall appeal of the home. This combination of well-designed internal proportions, modern amenities, and practical external facilities makes it a standout option for those seeking a low-maintenance yet spacious residence. Latimer Close is located behind Birchwood Road, in Brislington. Local amenities such as shops and eateries are in abundance, and a vast array of popular open green spaces are nearby, including Victory Park, and with St Anne's Park and Woods located near the end of the road. The City Centre is easily accessible via the plentiful bus links close by.
